Student Life - Activities

Besides facilities and services, which support the academic life and the learning process, the new campus offers a wealth of services for the welfare, social life, and the entertainment of students.

  • A fully equipped medical room, (with a visiting doctor), is available to all students free of charge.

  • A prayer room may be used by students of all religions and denominations for recollection and prayer.

  • The student affairs officer is available to help students settle down, find accommodation and solve any problems they may have.

  • Regular bus service, partially subsidized by the College, connects the campus with the city center.

  • Students may have their photocopies made at the Copy Center from which they can also buy books and stationery.

  • Club Pepper", the Student Cafeteria, is on campus and is open during normal college hours. The cafeteria offers soft drinks, snacks, and recreational facilities. It is also a pleasant environment for students to meet their fellow students and teachers in between and after classes.

  • In the evenings, "Club Pepper" is the venue for all sorts of regular or special leisure activities, such as: film shows, parties, live shows etc. Thanks to satellite antennas, international students can watch live on large screen sport events and other TV shows of their home countries. A games room with billiards is an extension of "Club Pepper".

  • For sports the possibilities are endless. Table tennis players can practice their sport under ideal conditions. Outdoor sports can be practiced on the football / handball and basketball grounds. A cricket pitch is under construction.

  • The College has a multicultural student body and one of the most popular events is the International Night, where students present the culture, music and food of their country. A change of scene is always refreshing too and students enjoy day trips to the mountains and to the "sun and sea" coastal areas. Two-day cruises to Egypt and the Holy Land are also popular breaks.
