Graduation Requirements

Students are awarded a Diploma or Degree provided they meet all graduation requirements. To qualify for graduation a student must:

*Complete all the Diploma/Degree requirements as specified in the Prospectus;

*Settle all financial obligations to the College

Final Assessment Board

Composition:

Academic Director Chair

Course Coordinator of the program of study External Examiner or nominee

Faculty members with overall responsibilities for the assessment of the courses Registrar to act as secretary

Function:

It is authorized to assess students in accordance with the course assessment regulations and guided by the principles of transparency, consistency, fairness, to recommend awards of the College be conferred upon those who have fulfilled the objectives of an approved program of study and achieved the standards required for an award.

Procedures and Terms of reference:

The Final Assessment Board is convened at the end of each semester to:

  • Judge whether students have fulfilled the objectives of their program of study and have achieved а standard which accords with а consistent degree standard of awards.
  • То make judgments on student performance by applying discretion where necessary within the course regulations.
  • То interpret the assessment regulations for the program of study, if difficulties arise, in the light of the College's requirements and of good practice in higher education.
  • То judge each student's performance as а whole and decide, in the light of the objectives of the program and its assessment regulations, whether any compensation might allowed for failure in elements of the assessment.
  • Make recommendations to the College concerning the conferment of awards.
